A fighters heart

This book by author Sam Sheridan is actually his first novel.
A writer who decides to live out a dream he has had for a long time (Fighting).
Sam Sheridan travels the major countries renowned for particular martial arts in this biopic he meets very interesting martial artists and people who help him not only to train, and fight but also give him the knowledge he needs to write about the thoughts and mindset of a martial artist and the psychological edge that makes a man get into the ring or cage and fight another man in a violent display of talent and aggression.

Sam Sheridans journey also brings him unexpected obstacles along the way but he takes advantage of these obstacles and open the door to alot of new experiences for himself. This makes for some interesting reader however for you animal lovers be warned there is a section in this book which goes into Dog Fighting.
I am warning you of this because as an avid martial artist myself I however am not fond of the dog fight scene.

This is a great book in general but especially for thoe interested in sociology, phsychology and especially martial arts.
This is definitely a book of special interest so not for everyone.
My personal rating of this book is 4 out of 5 stars.
